Meet Meg Goldwater: Strength & Performance Coach and Fitness Professional in NYC

Founder

Meg Goldwater is a strength and performance coach and the founder of Game Plan by MPG, a coaching practice built around structured, thoughtful training. She works with athletes and active adults of all backgrounds who want to build real strength, move well, and train with intention.

Coaching Philosophy

Meg’s coaching is grounded in a simple belief: movement and strength training should be accessible to everyone. While she has a background in sports performance, her work extends beyond competitive athletes.

She works with people who want to feel strong, capable, and resilient in their bodies, as well as athletes seeking performance gains. Meg is also pre and postnatal certified, supporting women through pregnancy and the return to training with thoughtful, progressive programming.

Education

Meg is currently completing her M.S. in Applied Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Performance at the University of Florida.

Before transitioning into the fitness industry, she earned a BA/MPH from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied the intersection of movement and public health.

Additional Ventures

Outside of Game Plan by MPG, Meg works with early-stage fitness and wellness brands, supporting founders as they grow and refine their businesses. She has also invested in emerging companies within the fitness and wellness space and remains engaged in projects that advance thoughtful, high-quality training.
